Our goal is to create and grow a community for the sports card enthusiast, beginner, and everyone in betweenand provide entertaining and affordable breaks of all ranges. Whether you are interested in factory sealed boxes, hit drafts, divisional breaks, team breaks, or even individual pack we want to be the place for all your needs!
Not familiar with "breaks"?
Sport card breaks are a way for collectors and investors to buy a small part of an entire box or boxes of cards (usually an entire team or division) at a smaller cost,as opposed to purchasing a full box and keeping all the cards.
The purchaser will receive all the cards of the players that are on/in the team or division they are currently playing for. Then, usually via live stream, the “breaker” (the person who bought the entire box) then opens the box and shows what cards are inside. After the box has been opened, the breaker will send the cards from the boxes to the investors.
For Example...
Let’s say you buy in on an NBA box break and choose the Minnesota Timberwolves as your team.
You and the 29 other people who have bought in (there is usually one for every team) watch the live steam where the breaker opens the box of cards. Let’s say that in this pack of fifteen cards, there is:
- 2 Minnesota Timberwolves Cards
- 1 Golden State Card
- 3 Chicago Bulls Cards
- 1 LA Clippers Card
- 4 New York Knicks Cards
- 1 Atlanta Hawks Card
- 2 Boston Celtics Cards
- 1 LA Lakers Card
In this case, there were two Timberwolves cards – so you’d get to keep those.
The name of participants will be placed in a spread sheet in order of when they were purchased. We will roll 2 physical dice to determine how many times we will run the randomizer for the teams or divisions. Once we have randomized (the number of times on the dice) that list of teams or divisions will be placed next to the list of participants, and they will than own all the players that come out of the packs on to their corresponding team or division.
The cards will be awarded based on the following: Rookies that were drafted/signed will go to that team. Veterans will go to the team the card states on the front (regardless of current team if differs) in the photo.
If a card has multiple players, then there will be a dice roll among the individuals for their corresponding team or division on Random.org to decide to which team the card goes.
All top rookies, inserts, hits, etc. will be sleeved and in many cases top loaded if the card is considered a hit (base cards will not be sleeved individually). Cards will be team sleeved and placed in a bubble mailer or small box depending on quantity.
